Alternatif yang digunakan adalah 34 unit produksi dan 6 kriteria sebagai penilaian unit produksi terbaik, yaitu kriteria penjualan rekening khusus air (C1), evaluasi tunggakan yang dicapai (C2), evaluasi tingkat kebocoran (C3), evaluasi tagihan berjalan (C4), jumlah sambungan baru (C5) dan penjualan/pemakaian air per pelanggan (C6). Data penelitian bersumber dari instansi terkait tahun 2014. With this system, agency leaders can produce a better decision to select the best unit in a more objective way.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan unit produksi terbaik di PDAM Tirta Lihou, Kabupaten Simalungun. The research showed that the best unit in PDAM Tirta Lihou was the Tanah Jawa unit with Net Flow 0.16274.
The method used in this research was Promethee. The alternatives used were 34 units of production and 6 criteria as the ranking of the best production unit such as the criteria for selling of water supply (C1), evaluation of arrears achieved (C2), evaluation of leakage rate (C3), running bill evaluation (C4), number of new customers (C5) and sales / use of water per customer (C6). The research data were sourced from the institution in 2014. This research aims to develop decision support system in determining the best production unit in PDAM Tirta Lihou, Simalungun District. Is every transaction listed on the receipt that the student takes in accordance with what is stored in the financial division. Then how the student data in the academic section with financial division data to obtain accurate data about the status of students. Financial transactions can be done if the status of a student is active, it is difficult to do with manual system that is not directly connected with the education division that regulates student activeness.
There are many obstacles encountered in a manual system such as inaccurate and inefficient data information because the data has not been neatly arranged so that the transition of manual system into computer system gives ease in handling data in large scale with efficient and effective time.
Thus the existing human resources must be able and have the potential to control and maintain the existing system because aspects of brainware is essential for the running of a computer system that is maximal and reliable. Application of the application program to the manual system into a computer system will change the pattern of technology of a system.
